Audio Book Recordings

I’m involved in recording MP3 audio books.  Originally I contemplated posting them to the excellent audiobooks site librivox, but have since decided to publish the files on my own in order to have maximal flexibility and speed in publishing. Some of these are in progress.

  1. Thanks for getting ahold of me. You said that you didn’t want to duplicate titles I have done. I like to listen to other person’s narrations if they are well done, but since we have so many titles to choose from, I think we have a lot to give the world-so I am the same way!. I will finish my 26th year of narrating in December. I first narrated An Alarm to the Unconverted by Joseph Alleine, then later discovered Richard. Joseph died when only about 34, so he didn’t write much. I can write you a more lengthy note later if you pass on your email address.

There is a lot to talk about when it comes to good Puritan works and other works. http://www.christianaudio.com is such a mixed bag, and http://www.swrb.com is an eccentric group, but I have narrated for them. I profit best reading books that probe my own soul, Certain authors just draw it out of me, Thomas Boston, John Owen, Alleine, Puritans like Thomas Goodwin are more difficult.

Apparently you are a Baptist like me? That’s a double bonus

  2. Good job:

I am very pleased at what I hear. A friend of mine, pastor of the Reformed Baptist Church Canton, OH. loves Christopher Love. I listened to the letter to his wife that you narrated. How interesting, I am going from a prison to a palace. When he was about to be executed. I am not clear why Oliver Cromwell had Love put to death. Anyway, I am sure we will keep in touch, I will link to you, but more importantly I have friends that will want to know about your site.
