Pending Theology Books

January 11th, 2009 | Categories: Books, Theology

There’s a number of theology books I want to complete some time in the not-too-distant future.

Here they are:

  • The Death of Death in the Death of Christ by Owen (started some time ago)
  • The Bondage of the Will by Luther
  • Calvin’s Institutes (I’ve read parts of them, need to go through it all)
  • Meet the Puritans by Joel Beeke (moreso history)

I’ve sort of fallen behind on theological reading lately, but I do want to play some catch-up some time soon. Since I’m reading other stuff and also have a fairly hectic reading schedule for my University studies, I probably won’t get to these very soon. These are the sort of books that require fairly exclusive attention, so it is hard to squeeze them in with other readings.

The bondage of the will is for all of those Calvinist Lutherans out there (feels weird to say that). :-)
